Welcome to MS Flyway Retrievers, the premier dog training and boarding facility with a passion for happy, well-behaved dogs and satisfied pet parents.
How We Started
JT & Caroline Cline are the owners of MS Flyway Retrievers. As long as Caroline can remember, she has always loved animals. She received her first dog at the age of 10. She decided to take a few basic obedience training classes with this dog, and that is where her love for training dogs truly began. Fast forward 10 years, JT and Caroline bought their first Labrador, Rye. They have always loved duck hunting together, from the time they were friends, then dating, and now married for two years. They knew they wanted to train their first dog together to be a duck dog so they went all in, buying books, DVDs, and anything they needed to train him.
After months of working with Rye, they took him on his first hunt, and they remember these moments like they were yesterday. As soon as Rye retrieved his first duck, they both glanced at each other and knew they were hooked. After that duck season, they started training him even more in-depth. The bond they formed with Rye is one they do not take for granted.

While attending a community college close to home, a friend asked Caroline if she would be willing to train his dog to become a retriever. Training Nelli gave her the confidence to know she had the ability to train other dogs, not just her own. The summer after her first year of college, Caroline agreed to train four dogs while she was home. Once again, this boosted her confidence greatly. She then chose to attend Mississippi College to finish her degrees in Psychology and Marketing. After a long three years in the books, Caroline graduated from MC in 2020.

She ultimately knew what she wanted to do with her life– train dogs. However, afraid of the commitment and rigor it takes to jump into starting a business, Caroline decided to go a different route. She worked an office job for nearly a year and was very grateful for the experience this provided her. After much prayer and consideration, she chose to leave this job and begin the MS Flyway Retrievers journey with four dogs to train. She had the privilege of working beside multiple professional trainers during that time.
Since then, MS Flyway Retrievers has moved locations, added JT Cline as co-owner, and has successfully turned out many award winning gun dogs.
